Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski school - Kitzbuhel

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
A few of us going skiing to Kitzbuhel this weekend for a few days. We plan to start skiing on Saturday morning. One of the group is a total beginner - he has never used a ski before. It seems that he can only get private tuition on the Saturday as the ski school classes don't start until the Sunday. Does any one know of any company where he could get on a ski school on the Saturday - its just that the private tuition is very expensive.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The main school in the area is the Red Devils, but there are schools in Kirchberg and Reith which both function in the Kitzbuhel area. One of them might offer group lessons on a Sat, but I saw no evidence of it when I was there the Sat before last. An outfit called element3 are based in Kitzbuhel, probably worth a look. We did some stuff with them in the summer (paragliding, canyoning, rafting), and they were a good bunch of people, but I don't know what their skiing is like. The 'Ski heil' headline on their front page is, errm, interesting.
