REI in the US .... or backcountry.com. They don't deliver everything internationally, but something to keep in mind if you visit the US - REI have a lot of outlets.

the ice perv, for web deals try V12 in Llanberis http://www.v12outdoor.com/catalog/index.php/ or Needle Sport in Keswick http://www.needlesports.com/index.php and both offer free postage on most items (books I think being the only exception)
For walk in I am lucky to have a good Field & Trek not far from home; great deals in shop but have been less impressed with the choice offered online - the local shop always seems to have a wider choice of gear at better prices.
I have used all of the above quite extensively as both the wife and bank manager would confirm over the past few years and have always been satisfied

Aha thanks folks. I am going to the States soon Patch, I'll keep a look out for REI.
Has anyone climbed Red Rock near Las Vegas? I will be over there for a stag-do in May, and (hangovers permitting) was thinking about half-a-day's worth of climbing. Tell me there's some easy stuff! Any recommendations for local guides/instructors? Thanks again!
