Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Booking lift passes online

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All,

We're off to Mottaret in a couple of weeks (yippeee!!!) and we've finally got round to looking at lift passes. I remembered that a while ago someone posted a link to a TO who could get provide passes at quite a discount (although I think there was a £25 booking fee?).

Despite a good hour's searching on the site (hope the boss doesn't read this! Embarassed ) I can't for the life of me find the link... Can anyone remember which TO it was?

Any help gratefully received!

EvilWeevil, it's http://www.skicollection.co.uk/

I'm not sure that they're still selling the 3V passes to people who havn't booked accommodation with them, though - I seem to remember someone saying that on here a little while ago. FWIW, we booked our 3v passes through them in January (when it was only a £15 surcharge) & the voucher was accepted without a second glance at the lift-pass office, so it's worth doing if you can!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Fingers crossed! Thanks for sending that through. I knew it was something along those lines, but couldn't for the life of me remember.

Hope they're still doing the deal on 3V passes - could really do without having to pay full whack!

Nuts. Just called and the girl on the phone told me that they aren't selling the 3V tickets to people who haven't booked holidays through them. Apparently, they only have 'so many and we need to save them for our customers.' Ah well, fair enough I suppose.

Anyone got any more ideas about where to look for cheaper passes?!

just had a look at their website:

http://www.skicollection.co.uk/Ski/lift-passes.htm

Ski Extras only bookings (accommodation booked elsewhere) are subject to availability and will incur a £25 per booking fee. Conditions apply. Please enquire with a member of the Ski Collection team in relation to the dates when you are travelling and to the resort where you are staying.

So i guess theres nothing you can do with them. Sorry to hear that.

Im afraid I dont have any suggestions.
