Has anyone had any experience of Geneva Chamonix transfers? If so, can they advise whether good or bad please?
Also, what are people's recommendations for transfers??

bealsfive, I had no problems on the couple of occasions I used them, they even phoned the night before to confirm arrangements, I dont like the email booking then wait for a confirmation that all the transfer outfits use, so I booked directly by phone. There is a fundamental between the various services offered, some operate like a bus with fixed times through the day, others like collective taxis which only run if they get enough interest. Be careful at the end of the season as the transfers start winding down and are harder to find.
There is actually a scheduled bus that runs but they charge the same or more than the small operators.

Used A-T-S and Chamshuttles, never had any probs. Never really heard of any major probs with any transfer companies only the driver not being 100% sure where a chalet is, added 10/15mins. I've never heard of one not turning up at all (but prob has happened)!

I just got back from chamonix where we used ChamExpress for our transfer, they were very good on both journeys, Both of the drivers were very friendly, Ed, who drove us from the airport to cham gave us lots of reccomendations of placest to eat and drink as well as some contact details for a few back country guides.
The return journey dropped us at the airport with plenty of time for a nice casual checkin and a good walk around the shopping center and duty free areas before our flight... it made a change from my previous holidays where we have literally been running to catch the plane in time!

We are using these guys for the first time for a Geneva-Les Gets transfer this weekend, and I see they cover Chamonix too. Alarming name but have a look at the website, very impressive!

How many for how long? If 1 to 3 people and less than a week, a car covers it best. Have used ATS with no issues on the transfer front though. Have had issues however with a non major operator for the return trip, - he overbooked and didn't turn up! Holiday Autos out of Geneva- Swiss side, Chamonix in 11/2 hours tops - on car hire. Also very handy in Chamonix for Argentiere, or even a trip to Courmayeur
