Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Driver of the car or the board? It was when the boarder sat down in the middle of the high street ......... Madeye-Smiley

The BBC had a video on their website the other day of a skier being towed by a car - they thought it was quite funny. No mention of cars being crashed into though.

If you're intending to crash into cars when skiing, it's a good idea to have 3rd party insurance.

The picture of the road to Luton Airport jam was cleared by yours truly today. VW van stuck, towed him out of the way to allow the gritting lorry to get down the road. Had to drive the wrong side of the cones for about a mile. Toofy Grin

Thats ridiculous if they arrested him just for getting a tow down the street!! Now usually im more than happy to see a boarder locked up and taken off the slopes but im making an exception this time. By the logic of the police, any J walker or perpetrator of a minor traffic offense should be arrested as

A warning would have certainly been more than enough!! I did this on a sleigh one year and it was great fun. Over policing in my opinion. Evil or Very Mad

Correct me if I'm wrong here scrubyjoe but "The three-minute footage showed the car and snowboard bumping into vehicles parked either side of the road in Hungerford, Berkshire" sounds like a minor wrecking spree.

scrubyjoe, when I did similar on a sledge (a good few years ago now), we made sure there weren't (m)any cars around. Our journey around the backroads of Resort F may have slightly bent a speed limit or 2 and even included a sledge-through Mcdonalds to refuel Toofy Grin

Did they or did they not crash into the cars alongside the road? We all know how well reporters report these details. It doesn't seem they were charged with it.

I can remember hitching rides by hanging onto the back bumpers of busses when I was growing up in Montreal. My parents probably wondered how my boots wore so quickly.
