Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

BASI Alpine Manual

Is there much difference (enough to justify the extra cost) between the one from BASI shop (v3.0) and this one on ebay (v2.0) ?

It would be used in preparation for a Level 1 Instructor course ....

thanks

masmith, for L1 not really much difference, the changes are mainly in the more advanced teaching stuff and the way they demo rotary skills... this mught be a dumb comment but dont you get a set of manuals when you pay for the course?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

skimottaret, masmith, yes you do get a set of both manuals on day 1 of the L1 so masmith don't bother buying any!

Before my L1 course I did a few sessions at my local dry slope with one of the instructors who was up to speed on Central Theme (Spyderman) to do some CT practice. Made a big difference on my L1 course as it wasn't all so unfamiliar. When are you doing the L1?

rob@rar, I haven't yet committed to booking on a course yet, but am seriously thinking about it, either towards the end of this season (there's one in Soldeu at the end of March) or during the summer. Should know within a few weeks if I can do it ... and if I can then I'll sure be back here with lots more questions !

masmith, remember you can do the L1 within a Snowdome as well as in a ski resort. Both have their merits. I debated whether to do it on a mountain or in a Snowdome and I went with the Snowdome for mine.
