Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

different size feet

Poster: A snowHead
Hi I have one foot a fracton bigger than the other and find consequently that my right foot moves slightly at the heal. It is only a fraction but that's enough to make it hard work. I have tried to compensate but never get it quite right. Any ideas or do I just buy new boots? I have footbeds and the boots are Head 10 or something like that.

extra heel holds in the slightly big boot? I have them in one of mine as I chose to go with the bigger size rather than the smaller and they work a treat for holding my heel stable - just two bits of sticky memory foam type stuff either side of the heel, I've seen them before so I'd link any half decent shop would be able to manage them? aj xx

mfamily2,

I suggest you post this thread in the Equipment Section where our boot experts will see it more easily.

mfamily2, a shim wrapped around the back of the liner should help to stabilize things assuming the fit of the rest of the boots are good, i tend to use leather rather then foam as it does not compress as much, but it depends on what is required

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
