Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morillon / Morillon Les Esserts

Poster: A snowHead
I'm off to Morillon next week staying up in Morillon Les Esserts. Telecabine aside, what's the best way to get between Morillon and Morillon Les Esserts? I won't have a car and I read there's no bus between the two. Are taxis easy to come by? I'll be arriving in the evening on Saturday by coach into Morillon and don't fancy hauling suitcase, ski bag and boot bag up 5km of road to Les Esserts....

Tommy4681,
I would contact the tourist office, they may be able to help either with busses if there are any or with local taxis.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, T Bar, I've done that but they're taking a while to get back to me. Just wanted to see if any SHs could throw some light on this.

Taxis are not readily available when you get there (no black cab out there wink ) and the telecabine stops at about 5pm. No other way to get up there I am afraid.
Try to pre-book a taxi a day or at least few hours before: Taxi Baudet Tél. 0033 4 50 34 43 82 garagebaudet@wanadoo.fr ; Taxi Dechavassine Tél. 00334 50 34 96 76 Tél. 0336 07 08 99 06 taxidechavassine@hotmail.fr or there is an English guy that may do it if he has nothing else to do Ray Slade Tél. 00334 50 34 15 55 transfers@pativerdans.com. To check where you are going you will find a map of Morillon on http://www.peakretreats.co.uk/ski/morillon.htm
