Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Monster88 Crusader or Mantra?

I'm looking for some advice please!
I'm on Coombas which I love but need to find something more suited to piste/all terrain conditions.
My previous skis were PEs which I liked a lot. Has anyone had experience with the 3 skis I've mentioned?
Thanks in advance.

I only reviewed the Mantra out of those 3 (others were Black Crow Navis and Nordica Enforcer) search for the thread. Loved the latter pair but hated the Mantra (I am fairly light though).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Line prophet 90s imo.

Didnt like the mantra in soft snow. Imo they tried to boost the performance on hardpack too much and as a result the ski doesnt perform on the soft stuff like i would want it. The tail is too stiff and it digs in all the time. Im 85-90kg, i dont think its a weight specific thing. They are good on hard snow though.

Haven skied the head but like the crusaders.

sps89, Exactly what I found, it was the tail action that I couldn't get on with. I found the Enforcers amazing for messing around on piste and in the bumps as even though they are 98mm underfoot they have 19m turn radius. But not quite as precise as the Mantras on boilerplate.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
