When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chemmy Alcott is back racing

Britain’s Chemmy Alcott raced again this weekend, and came a respectable twentieth in the World Cup giant slalom in Cortina d’Ampezzi (Italy) on Saturday. The Austrians swept the board with Elisabeth Goergl in first place, Kathrin Zettel in second and Michaela Kirchgasser in third....Chemmy also raced in the downhill on Friday, coming in 47th. Dominique Gisin (Switzerland) came first, Lindsey Vonn (USA) second, and Anja Paerson (Sweden) third.

el Hen, I think you'll find that she's only 20th after the first run of the GS. Got another run to do in an hour or so. But 20th is a good place to be as she'll have a clean track.

cool, what with Jenny getting a result at x games and Zoe doing well in boarder cross its all looking good for snowsports............. I know it aint as simple as all that!
