Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I was just wondering if anyone ever stayed in the above chalet. I've been quoted £1900 for a family of 4 (for all of us not per person!)in mid March including flights, transfer and catering by Esprit. And aparently it's only 2 min walk from the lifts. Seems to good to be true. Am I missing something? I would appreciate your comments. Thanks!

Never stayed there but i just googled it and the best price for mid-march @ same chalet is just under 1K per person.

If i were you i would book it right away.

We're in Val at the same time an have done it D.I.Y with the kids in tow.

i was quoted 3.5K for the week @ a catered chalet.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've not stayed in that hotel but did stay in the Chalet Andre with Esprit 2 yrs ago and the kids had lunch in the Ducs. Never went inside so can't say what it's like. What I can say is the hotel is in the centre of Val D'Isere, albeit down a side street but well walking distance to the main lift hub. We are going back with Esprit this year to Meribel in Feb (similar deal) for our 3rd ski holiday with them - can't fault Esprit - excellent service and chilcare.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I decided to go for Saas Fee, which turn out to be even better deal. I might regret it though as I haven't done any research on the resort at all. Has anyone been there. I suppose it should be ak for kids if Esprit sells it.
