Any thoughts, tips on this? I did a summer course a couple of years ago in Saas Fee but it was cut short by bad weather and I only had a couple of goes on a bunny kicker but it was a shocking set up and you had to get speed up and then turn 45 degrees into the jump! I am heading to Avoriaz in Feb which is meant to have great parks. We are all late 30 something 40 year old lads and enjoy dabbling in the park although we're not that good. Keen to know about where your weight should be as you hit the ramp and do you pop the same as you do when you go forward? Cheers

Gsyfreerider, I find that ½ an hour with an avalanche shovel is the best way to eliminate problems with a kicker

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Funny you should mention it. I've been practising this for most of the day. Works best when my weights a bit forward (i.e away from the jump) and maintained there throughout. Landing switch with the weight over the back of my skis seems to be a recipe for disaster! The key thing is to look over the shoulder in the direction you plan to rotate, going the other way is fascinating.....

danjunk, Do you consciously try and pop or do you sort of let it happen?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

....Well I must admit even with full body armour and calvados anaesthetic it still picks when you stack it, airbags are the way forward..

the wait have to be central for bee in balance......the fact is that the kick go up........so going up also you have to move forward your hand.......if not the ski go up and your body go back.....and when you fly.....leening back you land on the back........but don't leen to forward if not you land in a swimming pool.......central......concerning the speed it is the jump who choose.......you need the speed necessary for land on the steep.....and not on the flat part of the landing.........GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

lungostyle, I caught the flat part with the back of my skis once... I bounced into the air and disappeared behind the jump only to land on my bum with a crash. It hurt

Gsyfreerider, Will see if I can dig it out... she said you saw a good cloud of snow come up and heard a little 'crump'. Not a big jump though.
