Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I have the opportunity to pick some of these up brand new, half price!!

The only problem is the size is the 167.

My other skis are 189 Seth, 177 Mantra and 172 Dynastar contact. I'm not very clued up on park skis and that is all I want them for, pure park skiing.

I'm 6ft and weigh 73 Kg, do you think I will be ok on the smaller ski?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

stone88, I'm an inch taller and 75kg and I've had scratch fs in a 174 for a couple of year or two now, which are the same ski.

I love them, but I always thought I could have done with a few extra centimetres, mainly for stability on backseat landings etc.

If it was me, I wouldn't go any shorter than the 174.

If you're looking for a pure park ski, they have some of last years Volkl Ledges on Sport Conrad for pretty cheap.

There are usually loads of good deals on park skis flying around Smile

They've got the 160cm on e bay but if you ring winter shack on 01382 459 031 they've got the 167.

I've never used them before but seems to have very good feedback. You get bindings included for around £285

Its pretty good, in France they were 600 euro with bindings. Here I think you can pick them up for about £410 but at the time of the 1st post the cheapest i'd seen them was £485
