Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Don't forget Slovenia!

Hey Guys, I know Slovenia is not on everyones radar when it comes to choosing a ski destination, but you know, you really are missing out on a great location.

We've had great weather here for weeks and lots & lots of snow. The two main centres, Vogel and Kanin have tonnes of the stuff. Vogel is on 2.5m at the moment and Kanin has an incredible 7m of snow! And with the continuing cold sunny weather, conditions are just great.

It's also fairly quiet here, no lift queues during the week and empty pistes. I had a great day on Vogel this week, so come on and see just how good it is for yourself.

My family have been skiing in Slovenia for the last 3 winters. We have a house in the mountains in the Savinja valley and drive to different nearby resorts. I really like it but the resorts are generally smaller than some of those in the more northern alps in France. The ones we go to are Rogla, Golte and Velika Planina. They are mainly red routes and ideal for intermediate skiers. I am looking forward to trying Krvavec this April - assuming they still have plenty of snow. We have never had a problem with queuing and skiing, accommodation, and food is a lot cheaper than France, Switzerland etc.
