Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello all, this is my first ever post in Snow Heads, so hello all from a relatively inexperienced ( 7 years ) skiier.
Has anyone been to La Toussuire this season. We went last year and found the cost of everything far cheaper than our previous trips to La Plagne, Flaine, Tignes and Three Valleys.
So the question is how much is it in Euro for a Pint of Beer and say sausage egg and chips or a pizza.
A friend has just got back from Flaine and says he was paying nearly Ten Pound sterling a pint
We go to La Tousuire on 31st Jan, so do i need a bank loan
All the best

We skiied over to La Toussuire last week. We didn't go down into the village but did have a drink in the bar at the top of the lifts (maybe called Carline). 3 cokes and 2 mars bars came to £15 - very reasonable as I'm sure you will agree.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Skim, thanks very much. No bank loan required then

, We skied La Toussuire a couple of years ago and it was significantly cheaper than any of the nearby bigger resorts. Prices will have changed but my guess is it will still be a good bet for a good value trip.
