Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone used/has Head Xenon 5.0

Hi There,

Looking at buying a pair of skis to save on the rentals. Missed out on getting a pair of Volkl's off EBAY. I normally rent Volkl Tigers. Anyway the person has a pair of Head Xenon 5.0 which he says are similar to the Volkl's that he will sell me. Unused he says. Am intermidiate and do not do off piste, I like to ski fast on piste with the minimum of carving and wonder if these skis are any good for speed as cannot find much out about them... Plus I want to improve my carving this year wink

Hi
Looking at EB's list of skis they stock the Xenon 10 which is classed as intermediate/advanced.I think there is also a Xenon 7 so I think the 5 will be suited to beginners/ints and will be a very different beast to the Volkl which is much stiffer.Check out Head's European website for specs
Cheers

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I think you confirmed that they are not as Stiff as the Volkl. As I get the speed up a bit I do find the Volkl's do not shake.
