muzza77,
Nice one for the info, really helpful.
We're going next Sunday & arrive 09.40hrs. I was hoping to be on the slopes of Les Carroz by 12.30, but after reading some of the horror of late I was sh!tting myself about what we'd encounter!
Is it possible to walk & pick up your car or is it best to wait for the bus?

It's a bit of a trek - I'd wait for the bus.
I don't see why picking someone up at Geneva should be a nightmare. You can normally park outside and it's cheap as chips.
I hated that underground car park and the tight turns too - the new arrangement doesn't sound too bad, though obviously it's sensible to drop everyone but the driver at the terminal first.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Lucan, I don't think it will be busy next week so I would just take the bus, you should still be able to hit the slopes by 12.30 The bus is very frequent anyway so a few mins wait won't keep you away from the slopes. Have a good trip.

stevo_the_saddler, muzza77, Hurtle, My main concern is that the navette will be a pain for groups and families.

Lucan, I reckon if it is quiet you will clear the airport in an hour, so perhaps that 12.30 run will be in order. Have a great trip.

stevo_the_saddler, I would imagine it will depend on how busy the desks are when you arrive, though we've never had terrible long waits at Geneva. Send runners to sort the cars [I would guess you will have two vehicles], which is what we've done in the past. Have a great trip. Am officially jealous having been back a week...

pam w, bit of a walk ???
Takes less than 5 minutes, very well signposted...almost certainly quicker than waiting around for the courtesy bus (it certainly was for us on monday).
Come out of the doors by the rental desk. Bear slightly to your right as you walk accross the bus turning area and see the pedestrian sign for P51.
5 minute (level surface) walk.
Follow those signs and when you get to P51 take lift to floor 1.
Done.

rungsp, stevo_the_saddler, Not sure I would have wanted to walk it in the chilly Geneva air - but depends on how well packed your kit is I suppose and how big the kafuffle is . We usually walk back to our car at Newcastle airport parking from the terminal, but at least that is downhill!

MarjMJ, the walk is a much more direct route than the one the bus has to take due to one-way roads etc
