Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

Hope everyone's had a good Christmas, Looking at going away in March and will need airport transfers to Morzine from Geneva Airport?

Can anyone recommend some one cheap?

There will be four adults (one ski bag) date we are looking at going is the 21st March!

Also would like to know your thought about the resort?

Thanks

Adam

We used Powdercabs who transfer to a lot of the PDS resorts. They were efficient, reliable and reasonable. Have only been to Morzine once and really liked it. Lots of lovely tree lined runs with the option of going up to Avoriaz for more runs.

Cant comment on transfer as we always hire a car, really easy drive from Geneva, might be worth a look at.

Morzine itself is a bit of a weird village, more of a town. It is spread out across two sides of the bottom of a valley, some hotels you have to walk across a pedestrian bridge to get to from the main area for lift access and bars.

The telecabine for avoriaz side of the PDS is a 5 min walk (or little ski train) from the lift up into the les gets area.

Avoriaz side is massive and varied but generally a bit tougher than the les gets side which is smaller but still good for a day or two depending on ability (when i was there it was much quieter in les gets side).

Broadway - both snowandtrek and DallyPaul here on the site can provide transfers.

My top tip, though, is to wait to book.

If you book a transfer too early then you end up paying for it to run. If you wait until a week or two before you need it then there's a good chance that you'll be able to "space fill" on someone else's transfer and get a much better rate.
