Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

balula, I don't know about the other end, but I've done bus from LDA to Grenoble (very cheap) and train GRN to GVA which was also quite reasonable. I imagine you'd have to pass GVA, but it might be possible to change at either Chambery or Annecy .... sncf website should tell you. Very Happy

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Welcome to snowHeads balula.

Your best bet is a transfer to Geneva airport and then a transfer from there to Morzine.

Both snowandtrek and DallyPaul here do transfers from Geneva airport to Morzine.

FlyingStantoni, No-one nowadays does LDA from GVA - it's much too far - the last holdouts gave up a couple of years ago I think.

FlyingStantoni, No reason why you should, but it's the furthest of the airports from here: Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery, even Turin are closer! (+ GVA has a truly disgusting TO place) Shocked

balula, Sounds right Very Happy

balula,
Bus or train to Geneva. May have to change at Bellegarde. Then when you know your arrival time ask me or snowandtrek to set up a transfer from the airport. Thanks mr FlyingStantoni for the plug.
If arriving by bus ,you may have to get from the Gare Routier in GVA to the airport with your baggage. Bit of a hike up to Central station from the GR.
If arriving by train, there are trains from Central (Cornavin) station round to the airport station. short walk to flight arrivals.
