Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I rarely post TR's on sH but that is about to change.
As some of you may know, I'm a member of the Barking Bear Forum and an enthusiast for EpicSki Academy. My first experience with ESA was two years ago, when some members of the Moderator team encouraged me to join in the fun at Stowe Vermont.
Many good things came out of that experience, from meeting some amazing people (That is where I had the pleasure of meeting WTFH) and had the privilege of being coached by some of the best ski coaches.

This year we had a record number of students for this event, and added a couple coaches to satisfy the ski bug.
TodO joined us, with some enthusiasm as he was one of the coaches from the beginnings of ESA.

As with most clinics, there is some standing around for instruction,



But then there is some dropping in..............


And ripping it up, too!

On a serious note, EpicSki lost a great friend recently, Stu Campbell. We took a moment at the top of the Quad lift, near the chapel, to have a few words and a moment to remember this mountain he loved so much.
