Looking for a decent ski vid for Xmas. Not so fussed about loads of freestyle. Plenty of decent tunes would be good, too...any recommendations welcome

Ellis Brigham's TSA (not that I am a snowboarder) used to do a freebie, haven't seen it for the last couple of years. They were good viewing though to get you in the mood, with plenty of good tunes.

If you like backcountry skiing, pillow lines, tree skiing and some jibbing check out Believe. But I assume you want a more oldschool film than newschool?
shoogly, indeed Hunting Yeti is good! It's botu 30 minutes long.. I tend to find the ones that are 45 minutes long are the perfect length.
Shameless plug here! But if you want to find out trailers/synopsis' of the films go here

I haven't seen any new ones for a few years . The Warren Miller ones were usually good skiing though I can't remember the music. My favourite skier on those was Scot Schmidt - he did a series of "Extreme Skiing" ones and a very good one "Steep Techniques" which explained the techniques a bit (but that may not be what you want).

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
