A survey of British tourists commissioned by the Trois Vallées states that:
- nearly two thirds are looking primarily for the most testing black runs they can find.
- three out of four wear helmets, more than any other nation.
- nearly half claim to be “expert” skiers.

Anyone got a copy of this survey? Its sampling is not clear - the article says that readers of Fall-Line Skiing magazine were included in the sample.

Seems to me that the figures don't add up 70,000 ski passes every week? £485,000,000 does not sound like a lot for such a big area, with so many high priced hotels, restaurants and bars.

I think it should read 'three of of four British s'kers and boarders have helmets'
. . . and given that only instructors have any chance of getting laid . . . they'll be well polished helmets at that
