I seem to be getting conflicting results. 'Open' doesn't necessarily mean 'all the lifts open'. I know the Arlberg is OK. What about resorts near Geneva? Will Morzine be open ? Megeve? (not till the 20th?) Is Verbier fully open yet?

Errm no, Cairngorm and The Lecht are open for snowsports, the latter was open today too.

The Bad Gastein valley opens tomorrow. From experience, some lifts will be shut but there will be plenty to go at for a weekend. Check out www.skigastein.com tomrrow for more info.
I expect most resorts in the Ski Amade area to be the same. Fly to Salzburg.

erica2004, So long as key lifts are open, other pistes may not be open but may be fine to ski, however lots more of our lifts are open today that last week, I expect everyone will be the same.
