All we do in work is araldite it together and g clamp it overnight.
As soon as I stopped looking at my boards in terms of money I had a lot more fun, for sure I break more but the alternative is avoiding things and not taking chances. Barbed wire makes a right mess as I found out today.

Not so. Mr L had the same problem with his LibTech and it's because the rail doesn't go all the way round the front of the board - if you smack it hard enough at the wrong angle it will split the laminate. In fact, he found that the topsheet was quite brittle generally and chipped easily when berks ran over the board in lift queues.
He considered the nose-protection thing as well, but got it glued back together instead.

That top sheet/edge thing sounds gash and I think I remember the only banana I ever saw was in for the same kind of repair.

stab, maybee if i trimmed the underside of the gaurd of so it doesn't catch anything at least the top and edge then will have some sort of protection, dont really wanna be drilling holes in the board for the other ones ive seen

Lib Tech boards (and some other makes) don't have the rail all the way around for good reasons, which I mentioned elsewhere (edited slightly today).
As the stabster mentions, get someone to glue n' clamp it back together if it happens to yours. I've heard other people talk about slightly brittle topsheets on Lib Tech - haven't had problems yet with mine (nor have my friends) but I'll post if I do.
