Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Serfaus and 9 year old

Hello! Some of you gave me some good advice regarding increasing my childs confidence, and Serfaus was mentioned a couple of times. I'm considering booking, but wonder if the child centred ski areas were more suitable for younger children? Anyone know? I'd hate to find that they are toddler areas, I'd never hear the last of it!

Have had a really good look at going to Serfaus with my 3 (5 8 and 11) and would have gone there this year, had I not been missing out on my boys trip to St Anton (so going to Stuben instead so I can get my Mooserwirt fix wink ) I've not been but my brother in law took his (then 8 year old) son and his mate and his sons (12 and 14 I thnk). They had a fantastic time. If you look of the website the kids area is amazing - tubing areas, skidoos etc.....http://en.serfaus-fiss-ladis.at/ Think it has been voted best family ski resort by Austrians (or possibly Kappl?) Think it caters for all things family, so not just toddlers. I looked at the hotels Lowe and Baer (same owners) and the facilities looked excellent - slides etc into the pools, so right up a 9 years old's strasse. Has a good snow record too. Must be good as it's not very well known to the UK market

Stayed in the Löwe 1 year ago to the week. Serfaus caters for kids from toddlers right up to older kids in their 30's. The Ski school was great.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

hollyvan, do a search on Serfaus on this site and you'll find quite a lot of stuff. I've been there. Perfect for a young'un.
