Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

2-year-old Romeo, son of English football team captain David Beckham (we point that out for the benefit of overseas snowHeads!), is learning to ski, at the Xanadu snowdome in Madrid. This report from today's
Sun
newspaper.
Romeo and elder brother Brooklyn are to receive mini skis today to mark the traditional “Los Reyes” festival — when Spanish children are rewarded for being good...

Well I very enthusiastically tried to get my 2 year old to ski but as most parents find it's not much more than a photo opportunity (which is perfect if your a Beckham I guess!) but even if Davids leg genes were passed on I fear young romeo would not be able to start skiing until a year or so later on.

I do know a girl who started skiing at 18 months old in her back garden - but then her dad is a ski instructor! Apparently she used to scream if she wasn't allowed to ski with her brother who is 2 years older. I've seen a video of her taken late in her second season of skiing, and she was pretty good then. Now she's thirteen, spends nearly every day skiing, and I only wish I could ski like her!
