Does any SH out there know of any (small) apartments that may be availble in Les Menuires from Sunday 28th December for a week?
There are only 2 of us, so small and cosy would be fine.
I came across a website last week that was showing availability on a Sunday to Sunday basis but cannot for the life of me locate the site again.... 
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hope springs eternal. I have found French agencies to be completely inflexible, even when you know that they have loads of empty apartments. And that is a peak week. The private owners agencies are a better bet but New Year is a busy (and lucrative) time. An "accommodation only" deal with a TO is another possibility.

Check out Hotel des Alpes, (the skilt) in la croisette in les menuires.If you contact them directly, they might be able to sort you out. Its a first choice hotel. Or if you fancy a bit more of a splurge L'Ours Blanc, is nice....
