Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Which week to go - Feb or March

 Poster: A snowHead

Suggestions gratefully received about which week to go away. We are trying to sneak a week late Feb/early March - outside school hols. Anyone any thoughts on which week will be quietest/cheapest.

Thoughts particularly from those based in France - that's probably where we'll go - are French hols still on last week Feb? Many thanks

Dr George, no, the second week in March should be fine. Still fairly busy, with all those French folk who don't have kids, but no big problem.

Yes, I agree with pam w, you still get good snow depth in most places in late March, but you are more sure of good resort level snow and more likely to get new snow earlier in March. Have a good one. Very Happy

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Although the first week of March still seems to be the tail end of French school hols it always seems fairly quiet in the 3Vs. Certainly the second week of March is a good week and the snow is usully still pretty good IMHO with the added benefit of more sun and lighter evenings.
