Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Couldn't find anything on the sky planner for Friday as listed above.

See here for full listings every week.

Hmm, yes they list 5.00pm and 6.30pm and 8.00pm Alpine ski races. Plus 4 hours on sunday from 5pm.
Don't know what the other can be - I Googled and got it off a Eurosport website. Perhaps it was last year's?
Don't understand it - sorry, folks, if I got it wrong Puzzled

However I was watching cross country ski racing today and your list doesn't mention it. Puzzled

Bummer that it's only on Eurosport for those of us that only have 'normal' telly. Poo...

Eurosports scheduling is always very hit and miss anyway. I'll set Sky+ for large parts of the weekend making sure I get the programmes before and after the skiing. I've missed the final, leading, skier in a slalom before as it's finished recording as the schedule shows it changing to another programme.

Eurosport changed their sky EPG late on last time they showed skiing, so maybe it will be on.

Indeed Sad

And you can't even get the main Eurosport channel streamed on the net without paying a subscription fee.

We have cable in our street so I get it automatically - along with the internet.

I may have got the details wrong but 7 1/4 hours of ski racing this weekend is still good (plus all the ski jumping, cross country, luge etc) Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Yeah for some sports channels (basically Sky Sports X) you can rely on the Sky+ EPG. For others (basically anything else including Setanta and Eurosport) you can't - stick to the manual recording option (Services -> Option 6) and do it by time.

What happened to channel 4 skiing - I assume it's not on this year as the website is showing last year's schedule?

Yeah I always record the programme after aswell on eurosport after having missed the finish off a few races..

They said this weekend that next weekend winterpark starts on Eurosport, so should expect most of the day to be snow related...think though a lot of it will be on eurosport2 this weekend.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
