Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

if there's more than one of you then a hire car may work out cheapest - travel time varies largely depending on when you travel, anything from 2.5 hours upwards - avoid Saturdays if you can.

transfers by minibus for groups of 8 or so tend to work out about £70 p/person
e.g. http://www.3vt.co.uk/

public bus service is about £80 p/person - discounts for groups of 4 or more

doubtful, was assuming you'd be doing a return journey from Geneva ?

For 2 people then maybe the Aeroski bus could work out best if you're there for more than a few days and transfer time isn't top priority. Check out the timetable in the previous post.

A taxi for 2 peope would be very expensive.

in that case definitely the Aeroski bus - I think a one way ticket is about €60

masmith, Laughing Aeroski sounds very Russian (cf Aeroflot!) - appropriate for Courcheval 1850 I guess Laughing

Yes, I hired a car for a day at the garage near the entrance to Courchevel 1850. Very expensive, and no one-way rentals so no use as a DIY transfer to GVA. Try http://www.alpski-bus.com/
