Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Fabrosa Soprana (Italy)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

My daughter is going on a ski-trip with her new school in February to Italy.
It was going to be Tonale, but due to "a problem with the hotel (Hotel Negratella)" it will now be Fabrosa Soprana.

I cannot find much info about it so has anyone heard of it, know anything about it, know of some useful links?

Thanks ... Simon.

It is part of the Mondole ski area (the best known resort in which is Prato Nevoso)

There doesn't seem to be a full English language version of either website yet.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We went to Prato Nevoso in March this year but didn't actually ski down to Frabosa. Prato and neighbouring Artesina were very friendly though and although the skiing was limited we really enjoyed the very Italian atmosphere and hospitality. We flew into Turin and transfer was about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Prato has a good boarding area and there is floodlit skiing/boarding three nights a week and we really enjoyed that as it added to the somewhat limited ski area. I would think a school trip would make use of this if Frabosa doesn't offer it.

Part of my problem is that I was given the wrong spelling ie. it should be "fRabosa soprana"

You know, I hadn't even noticed the difference in spelling in your OP. Embarassed

But yes, if you haven't heard of somewhere at all, then having the wrong spelling can make it hard to search for it Smile

Linked to Pratto Nervoso, I hear! wink

You can have some fun with these obscure Italian resort names! Toofy Grin
