Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone know what blue Mountain, ontario is like? Good pow/parks/off slope stuff etc. Vaguely looking at a job there.

My in laws live there, I've only been in the summer - when its great, life revolves around the lake and water sports. Standard issue Intrawest village - estate after estate of holiday homes and a somewhat artificial (to UK eyes) village centre. I'd guess the skiing's pretty limited however - and my father in law says the climate is hideous (sub-zero, grey skies, wind off the lake ...) but then he is a bit of a GOM ...

el nombre, As your response level will demonstrate, not being a major resort, few will have travelled from the UK (where we have to admit that most snowHeads are from) to visit Blue Mountain. There may be a couple who've made a day trip of it whilst in Toronto though. I'd pop over to EpicSki, where there may be a few locals to comment (I know there are a reasonable number of Ontario residents on Epic).

Ok thanks for that. I got a couple of replies from the Dark Summer forum, doesn't sound all that great to be honest, especially for pow.

I wouldn't have thought it would be great for pow; I suspect that it would have conditions fairly similar to the 'east coast' resorts. (I summise, never having been to BM...)
