Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I've booked for a week in February with a mate of mine in Ischgl, and since doing so, the few people I've spoken to have all said it is absolutely mad - very drunken (in a kind of kitsch Germain kind of way) and brilliant terrain - anyone had any experiences they could share please???

There are a couple of resort reports here http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=5047 which may be useful. One of them is mine!

We loved Ischgl and would love to go back again.

jboyd39221,

Once drove to Ischgl (while based at Landeck for a few days) for a day's ski and was absolutely GUTTED to be driving once the apres ski kicked off!! Fantastic!

Soelden & St Anton also worthy of consideration by the way - both can be a bit wild...... Toofy Grin

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

We did kitzbuhl for a weekend stag, and it was 'probably the best stag weekend I'd been on' (but then being a snow addict I'm a little biased) - but compared to going to newquay etc then it was much more fun..

worked really really well. got there 2am friday on the wee wee to 6am, stop for a chocolate croissant on the way home (baker's just opening) 4 hours kip. on the slopes for 10:30. Ski til 4:00, shot and a shower. In the bar watching 6 nations from 16:30, pizza, beer, nightclub, shots, more shots, more beer. bed at 3. Required itual humiliation. Fab days skiing on the sunday 10-15cm of powder, full day on the mountain. back to accom @ 16:45, carpark change, in the car @ 17:00. Fly home.

Die with your head on the desk on monday.

What's there not to llike about that...ok so no ahem traditional gentlemans pursuits, but based on the links from stanton then it looks like ischgl would fulfil those needs.

Your stag friend will love you forever - ensure the rest of you chip in a few quid and I'm sure you'll find a few treats for him
