Hi
A few friends and I are going for an early ski weekend in middle of December and are looking for a hotel based near the main galzig lift. Last year we stayed at hotel bergheim which was great as it was only 30 seconds walk from the main lift. However they are full for that weekend so looking for some recommendations please! Can pay up to 140 euros a night for a double room. Many thanks.

alex99, Mates of mine stayed next door to us this year in a newly built hotel called Pepi Ski Hotel ( www.pepis-skihotel.com ) and it was amazing. Got a mobile phone as a key that you could also use to phone each other free of charge, get snow reports... We stayed at Hotel Sailer, but whilst a great location, doubt that I would go back as seemed to be the place that all smokers congregated. Hotel Anton above is on a great location. We've stayed in The Hotel Schindler for the last two years. Comfortable, good brekkie and less than 5 mins from the Galzigbahn. Also a very decent restaurant, for which you'll need to book.
