Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Of to peisey for Xmas this year (first time sking at xmas)

We will be taking our ski hardened 4 year old with us

Just wondered if the resort is going to be all snowy or if we will have to go to one of the other resorts

Not after a prediction but if anyone has been in the area for xmas

I've skied in Les Arcs at Christmas for the last few seasons. It has always been possible to ski down to Peisey, but sometimes on man-made snow and it can get a bit icy. Whether the village itself is snowy is entirely in the hands of the snow gods. If snow is a bit scare is is easy to upload (and download) on one of the chairlifts out of Peisey or Vallandry to head to higher slopes where usually the snow will be more plentiful. There i a fairly extensive snow-cannon network throughout Les Arcs to help if the natural stuff is in short supply.

gazza2, We've spent a couple of Christmases in Plan Peisey overy the last 4 years, & had enough snow each time. One time it snowed for the first time in the season the night before the resort opened, so it can cut it fine. We're not there this year - my brother is though & he always gets good snow rolling eyes . As Rob Rar says, the lifts are good & its easy to get higher. Your 4yr old should have plenty of toboganning too. Lucky you - have a great time Toofy Grin
