Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski-gliding down Glas Maol at Glenshee.

This is a really pretty part of the Glenshee ski centre if you're on 1 or 2 planks the whole time but the view from the air is something else. Listen for the appreciative applause from the long weekend liftline. We know how to queue in Scotland. wink

Schussing Super Diable in Les 2 Alpes.

I've skied this steep straight run a few times but always put in turns. From the crowd gathered at the bottom (which can't be for the chairlift), this looks to me like a friendly competition amongst seasonnaires. I wonder if Easiski was taking part ? Puzzled

Black Spout, Lochnagar, Cairngorms.

At least in La Grave, there's no need for heather hopping. Laughing

Dropping down to Red Tarn from Helvellyn in the Lake District mountains.

Maybe it's not the extremest of extreme skiing but I wouldn't fancy those rocks at the bottom and it's definitely a run not often bagged. Cool

boabski ... Glas Maol is a beauty all right, it feels really remote (but that's because it is really remote) and from bitter experience is a shocking place to be when the weather turns bad and you've got to take the two slow drag lifts through the blizzard to get back to the safety of a cup of tea and a plate of macaroni cheese and chips. But when the sun's shining and the cover's good (especially midweek without the crowds), it's got to be one of the best places on the planet. Very Happy

Avago ... I loved little Harry Monkey ... like something out of Thunderbirds. Is he too young to tell him to 'bend zee knees' ? Laughing

mark, roga ... Re. Black Spout/. There's some class talent out there on two planks isn't there. Shocked

jb007 ... I was hoping for the poseur in the yellow salopettes to come a cropper ... Toofy Grin http://s265.photobucket.com/albums/ii218/tremblog/?action=view&current=SMOV0013-14.flv

moffatross, Harry was only 2.5 years at the time. 'Bend zee knees' will come soon enough. We didn't want to put him off shouting to many instructions at him. It was his first time on skis, so he's got plenty of time. Ski school this year..... 'cheep cheep'
