Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Res.Olympiades - Val Thorens ?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Anyone been here in recent years? We're looking at going in April 2009, 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 9 years)
Seems to tick the 'near the ski school meeting place' box.
They seem to offer 'packs' for food, ski's , lessons, lift passes etc....
Any advice appreciated but in particular the cleanliness and appartment facilities.

BMF_Skier, very central, refurbished about three (?) years ago. Fairly cramped, I believe.

It is about the snow, but when you're squeezing 4 people into a space thats too tight for 2, it can spoil the ambiance a tad. Sad Appartment booked, Res.Olympiades, supposidly for 6. We have 2 adults, 2 kids so ,space wise, it should just be adequate. Very Happy So next easter, moi, Megamum and the 'Minimums' are on the way to Val Thorens. Very Happy

BMF_Skier, Ok, might be able to meet up for a ski/drink at some point. I'll keep an eye on this thread as this accomodation might suit us too.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Does anyone know if these appartments come with a TV set? There may be times when two small children may function better with DVD's to occupy their time rolling eyes
