Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Martin Bell ski courses in US ?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Is there a web page for this ?- I can only find one for courses in Europe.
I found the Warren Smith one and it would be a difficult choice, but I don't know if I fancy a trip to Verbier. Puzzled

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

erica2004, Martin is an instructor at Big Sky & I'm not aware of him doing courses in the US. He is however one of the instructor on the Epic Ski Academy (ESA) courses in the US but you can't specify which instructor you want. I skied with him at ESA 06 & can recommend both Martin & the ESA courses. I've also done a number of weeks with Warren in Verbier & can recommend him also - in fact I'm back with him again in Jan.

BTW, why don't you fancy Verbier?

spyderjon, Is Verbier OK? Snowheads have given the impression that it's 'overated'.

erica2004, I'm not aware of that impression from the snowHead masses. It'll be my fourth trip there next Jan & it's reputation for high quality easy access off-piste is well deserved. I've posted plenty about Warren's courses if you do a search under my username.

Ok for what exactly? What are you looking for?

spyderjon, Historical snow report doesn't look brilliant. People mention 'boring' pistes and long lift lines. I guess it doesn't matter if my aim is to improve my technique. Although, I'm not a young, macho, aggresive off-piste skier, would the course be ok for me?

Verbier is awesome! If you go peak season then yes there will probably be queues, but you will get that in any major resort. There are a few bottle necks, but the off piste more than makes up for it.

The impression of boring pistes may be partly caused by regrading most of the best blacks (except Mont Fort) as itineraries.
