Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm a snowbum who has to do a bit of software testing in between to pay for it. I've been very fortunate that for the last couple years I've spent more time on the snow than offices.

Tignes in Dec, and the Eosb in VT in Apr, and hopefully a week in Serre Chevalier in Feb too.

Planning a group trip in Mar but one couple in the group will be taking their 12 month-old baby, so I reckon somewhere lowish like La Tania, as long as they can sort out decent childcare.

Thanks for the welcome to Snowheads. I'll now endeavour to converse on a more regular basis on the forum, mainly to ask for advice and recommendations, as it does appear that there is a huge amount of knowledge to tap into.

By the way, as I'm off to Samoens next Feb should I expect to see snow at resort level (700m)? Puzzled Any thoughts would be gratefully received. Smile

Cheers.

monster77, sounds very much like it. Looking back at some of your posts there seem a number of similarilties between us (beard, first car in 1978, lots of time on dry-slopes, non-instructor but around that level). Looking forward to it - but with a hint of nervousness. I know a few Hemel people, but I don't think we've met?
