Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Megamum, La Tania is one of the lower villages in the 3-Vs. Good place for famillies IMO and often a tad less expensive that the main towns. Nice place with pretty much everything you'd need.

Megamum, we stayed in La Tania 3 yrs running - lovely village. Plenty of places to eat, nice little super market, easy access to 3V by lifts or take bus around to Courcheval.

Easy to ski back to now they've put in new green run - also very nice to stop at Cafe at top of gondala for a few Vin Chauds and take lift down

Got a week in Saalback booked for end of January. Got friends doing seasons in Whistler and Morzine so would be good to go visiting them. Also hoping to go on a bit of an Asian adventure. Contract finishes early January so should be able to get at least a couple of months on the snow. Woo hoo.

After lurking on the site for quite a while now I'd thought this thread provided the ideal opportunity for my first post, so this season 11 of us are off to Samoens. We're driving down on Feb half tern week, so that should be exciting!!!! Madeye-Smiley
Having spent the last 3 yrs either in Borovets or Arinsal we thought it would be the right time to hit the French Alps and see what its like as Samoens and the surrounding area has been highly recommened to us.

Tignes Ski & Board Camp October with Snowheads. Booked that because I hadn't skied on the glacier in October before, wondered what it was like and wanted to meet some Snowheads.

Tignes with Inspired to Ski December. Went with them last year and enjoyed it. Planning on meeting up with some Snowheads from the Dec Ski & Board Camp first week I'm there.

Meribel early Jan-booked that as it was cheap for the location in Meribel and the sheer amount of skiing available.

St Anton mid Jan-fancied going there for a while so thought I would go.

Will probably go to EoSB, will see. The rest of the time I'll make it up as I go along as and when and if funding allows.

hels_t, your contract, ending in Jan, what do you do out of interest?
