Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all - has anyone had any experience with the Development Centre in Val D'Isere? Am thinking of booking a course with them. Thanks.

personal down to earth tuition, a team of like minded individuals who provide a professional intuitive improvement service. we recommend TDC Val or Tignes to our clients and haven`t experienced anything other than praise for them, regardless of level or experience. Enjoy!!

I did their Intro to Off Piste course last year (2x3hrs). The snow wasn't great but the instructor did find us some pockets of powder. The instruction was good although mainly based on skiing hard crust given the lack of powder but, as the instructor said, you're going to be skiing on hard crust off piste more than powder most of the time anyway. Instructor (Dougie) was very friendly and competent. Looked like a great skier to my untrained eyes, although he did fall over on a practically flat part. Very Happy

I did feel I could have had a bit more feedback but that's looking for criticism really and I put that down in their questionaire and they said they'd take it on board for this year. The other slight niggle is that you meet at Precision, not at the lifts which for me meant walking past the lifts to Precision and then walking all the way back with all my equipment. Not a major hassle and I'm sure they'd meet you at the lifts instead if you asked.

Definitely recommended.
