Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting from Lyon to 3 Valleys

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone could help - I've got a group of 8 people who need to get from Lyon Airport to the 3 Valleys in the cheapest way possible (apart from walking).

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced airport transfers companies, or have any tips on getting there any other way? Is the train an option?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!! Very Happy

Many thanks,

Nick.

Lyon airport is directly linked to the St Exupery train station. There are also regular buses http://satobus-alpes.altibus.com/fr/reservation/horaires.aspx?cp=fr&rt=SAA44&dA=14/10/2008&dR=21/10/2008

wns198, trains are virtually direct from the airport to Moûtiers and are very regular, cost about £22 return with usually, one change at Chambery then bus up the hill with http://www.altibus.com/ (£15??)

wns198, for 8 people you might be best to hire 2 small cars as this could work out cheaper than £22 for train and £15 each way from moutiers transfers

it's an easy drive and might allow an extra 1/2 day's skiing at start or end of hols Very Happy
