Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Steve Sparks, We stayed in the Crystal last January and would use it again
They were building a new leasure area across the road thats conected with a walkway and shares with the hotel Dutchman
There were some folk in the retaurant that were not keen on the food but we thought it was great
Not the place to go if you want everything fryed and with chips
Very close to the nearest lift if you went across the road there is a path that takes you to the bottom of the piste next to it without having to climb the stairs at the lift station about a minutes walk
We are not quite as keen on Obergurgl as Obertauren but have been a couple of times and will go back some time. Even this winter if the right deal comes up.

Garfield, The Crystal looks great on the website, but it's nice to hear a first-hand report. I for one can quite happily live without chips and fried food - so I should be happy!

Steve Sparks, yep, pretty happy with the free lift passes ... the money we saved on these should more than cover a few days worth of lessons.
