Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Started this on another forum I belong to, Barking Bear Forums, about a year ago. Anyways:
What do you think are the steepest runs in America in the east? Continuous, just the headwall, or a short section: whatever! Just name the Steeps of the East... note: has to be a registered run and lift serviced (ex. Slides at Whiteface or Tuckerman's Ravine does not count
Personally, I think all these runs are deserve a SotE (Steep of the East) title:
Face Chutes, Jay Peak
K27, Hunter Mountain
Ovation, Killington
Paradise, Mad River Glen
Rumor, Gore
Obviously
A snowHead

I would guess that anyone on here who really knows will be from the other side of the pond and probably posts on Barking Bears. (I used to but haven't for a while). I haven't skied in the US (yet) so I don't have a clue.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Surely you've got to list "The Outer Limits" at Killington ?

Outer Limits is steep, yes, but I believe that the runs I listed are a good portion steeper--what makes Outer Limits so challenging is the iciness of the bumps--and yes you're hearing this from someone who's never skied it so someone who HAS skied Outer Limits, go ahead
Lol, didn't know that many people were from Europe
