Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tignes - 1 nights accommodation

A colleague at work is hoping to travel with his wife to the Tignes Boot Camp from Sun 30th Nov to 2nd Dec. As there aren't any transfers available with Mountainsun he is thinking of flying to GVA on Saturday (just £31 with EJ!) and then hiring a car to get to the resort for late afternoon which will give him an full days skiing on the first day. MountainSun don't have a room available on the Saturday night so does anyone know of any accommodation in Tignes that might have a room available for just 1 night?

Alternatively he could stay 'down the valley' and leave early on Sunday morning to get a full days skiing. Is there any accommodation near to Tignes?

Phil_D, i am posting from the bootcamp. i think the best result might be to logonto the tignes website. otherwise try Bourg St Maurice which is 45 minutes away, or may be stay over in formule 1 en router

Thanks for your suggestions. Also found Hotel Ariba and Hotel Diva from an earlier post so between those hotels/chalets I'm sure a room can be found. Incidentally my colleague is now going with a couple of mates rather than his wife so cheap 'n' cheerful might well more appropriate!
