the ice perv, there are loads of shops in Alpe d'Huez. If you want something special you may be best to ring in advance, otherwise it depends on where you are staying as it is a big resort.
I booked online and checked the prices with these
www.snowbrainer.co.uk
www.skiset.com/index-en.html
www.snowrental.net
These also give you an idea of where the shops are.

the ice perv, If you are staying at the Les Bergers end there are several in the centre there. I booked one through Twinner, think it was Noel Sports, up the stairs at the fron t of the centre, turn left. Got some decent skis from them 2 or 3 years ago.

the ice perv, Cyril's Sport I would say quite confidently is the best hire shop in Alpe d'Huez! He has really competative prices, excellent friendly service and a really good standard of equipment. They are the first shop on your right as you enter the Les Bergers centre through 'Entree Est'. They do also have a website you can look at http://www.cyrils-sport.com/ and are very helpful and speak good English if you wanted to ring or email them in advance if you have specific requirements.
