Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well I skied 170cm skis for years but I have been testing a few 180cm twin tips. I'm 5'10 and 11.5 stone. I'd suggest slightly longer than 169s if you are fairly ok going at a good pace.

haha depends what you think a good pace is, i like to ski as fast as a can but although i think im going fast i might not be going that quick lol. i was looking at icelantic pilgrims and their sizes seem really odd think its 169 or 182 nothing inbetween

182 if you think you're an experienced, good skiier, 169 otherwise. I spent 5 years on 165 skies and they didn;t hold me back for the first four....

sabraham, Sounds fine to me. That's what I ski on, but as ever it depends on what you doing / plan to do. Short = Agility / Long = stability

sabraham, A 169 Pilgrim would be ok as it's reasonably stiff for a twin - & we still have a couple of new 07/08 pairs available at a bargain price. However I think that the new longer 08/09 Pilgrim in 179cm would be better suited to your stats but it won't be available till end Nov/early Dec. You can demo both the 169 & the new 179 at the Chill Factor on the last Fri of every month but we could problably hook you up at either Castleford or MK if required.
