Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There are public buses from Moutier to VT (mostly of use if you go on one of the Ski Trains - which has the advantage of 2 extra days of skiing compared to flying out. If you do that you need to get tickets on the day they become available since there are a small quota of half priced tickets which sell out very quickly).

Renry, we've stayed at that end of town twice, once in a chalet and once in apartments, and it's fine - pretty much straight onto the piste, and a short walk to The Frog, O'Connells and the Viking, and there are a couple of food shops nearby too.

We stayed at the other end of town off of Rue Du Soleil (opposite Moo Bar), great for slope access and opposite a supermarket - but a bit of a walk into the centre of town. So in that respect, Le Péclet would be better - and still has great piste access. Which, most places do in VT anyway.

Where are you flying into? You've no use for a car once you're in VT really, plus you'll have to pay €50 to park the car. Having said that, it's very easy to find, even without sat nav.

The train (those cheap tickets - only about two hundred of them, as far as I remember). In the past I have just bought a ticket for the bus when I got there, but booking ahead might be good. see http://www.valthorens.com/winter/access/contacts/by-bus-240-2.html

Renry, Peclet is the original piece of VT and some of the apartments may be a little 'tired' - but many have, of course, been done up more recently. Good location for access to bars and most places are good for piste access anyway.
