If K2 lead the way its in the mass market adaption of boutique ideas though Solly seem to think this is a way to bolster their hold in the US market too/
Tartan of course is the next big thing, even if the world doesn't know it yet - if its in a boilersuit outfit so much the better. Who wouldn't be proud to look like your grannie's car rug with an accessorising tam o'shanter

Nickski, skinny skis, proper technique and stiff boots. (if you think I'm joking about the last statement check out the various freeride boots being introduced...)

80's/90's style pull over half zip ski jackets with a kangeroo pocket on the front. In dull faded colours so they look old , pink purple and turquoise patches standard colours. Think your first ski instructor uniform. serious
probably some sort of plaid (for the conservative but looking for something different crowd)
bright clean colours (matching tops and bottoms) colours are purple, cyan, green, orange pick only one colour or clashing for the adventurous (cyan jacket with lime green pants)(for the 20's - 30's)
bright clean colours of massive outrage patterns that clash in xxl with a pair of basketball shorts sewn to the top so they can have the crutch below their knees and have the pants on their waist (park rats or wannabe baller's)
