Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas holiday prices chase Santa down chimney

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Last minute prices for Christmas week ski holidays, departing today or this weekend, have collapsed. A combination of snow drought and awkward scheduling - due to Christmas Day falling on a Saturday - has left tour operators selling holidays well below cost.
Prices on offer on Teletext Holidays include many catered holidays at around the £200 level for the week, and one French operator - Ski France - is even offering trips for £145 to users of popular ski website snowHeads.com...
For those willing to accept the prospect of limited skiing, either escaping family and friends or seducing them into the bargain, there's the tantalising prospect of improving pistes and maybe even some powder.
Snow is falling, and new snow is forecast. Check the charts on www.snow-forecast.com and the interactive maps on Meteo France for more details.
We'll add snow forecast links to this thread, and if you have any recommended sources, feel free to post them below.

Interestingly, Airtours seem to have plenty of unsold holidays in Sauze d'Oulx for £154 B&B. Click here. Sauze, and the Milky Way in general, has better conditions than the Alpine average at present, so this is not to be sniffed at.

Mind you, it's better to have the evening meals taken care of.

A quick browse on teletext shows me a deal for £189 4* H/B in Soldeu, Andorra leaving on Sunday from Belfast.

Shame I've used up all my leave until the end of January Sad Sad Sad

These are ridiculous prices Shocked

^ that link that Helen posted - £147 to Tignes or Val d'Isere, going tomorrow! You'd struggle to buy a flight to anywhere for that at this time of year.

Prices for 26 Dec departures don't seem to have been cut by quite so much yet. Expect they will though if the operators don't fill places next week.

All this is really rather depressing when I just forked out over a £grand to go to Whistler in Feb....
